Welcome to Spanish 2

Information to help you as you begin Spanish this year. 
 Materials needed for class
    1  inch three ring binder- use the one from last year.   
    tabbed dividers
    loose leaf paper
    pen or pencil
    Optional but very helpful- Plastic page protectors

                                   vocabulary lists
                                   lesson plans
                                   absent student reports
                                   games

3. If you are absent I want you to get the information you need.
            Two options:1. Absent student folder at the front of the room.
                                2.  Absent student  Report online

4.  There are two things to do daily that will be your .
            1.Review vocabulary daily.  Use flashcards or your notes.
            2. Participate and focus attention on Spanish during class. (Remember participation is part of your grade.)


 

Special notes:
1.  Get work in on time.
Students may earn full credit for assignments turned in on time.  Up to 50% credit will be given for late work. 
2.  Extra Credit opportunities
    Student may write a riddle in Spanish with answer and e-mail it to me.  This can be done once per quarter.  Student can receive up to 5 pts extra credit per quarter.
    Student can earn extra points on graded timed writings and speaking quizzes. Points will vary depending on level of proficiency.
